The LR Collaborative will be speaking to Smith College Alums at  MacLeish Field Station in Whately MA, the site of our newest project Ecotones for a panel discussion about the work with sponsors of the project from Smith College Arts Afield, The Center for Environment, Ecological Design and Sustainability (CEEDs), and the MacLeish Field Station. Site visit, hike, and participation in early phases of art process are also a part of the morning program.

Please join us for a webinar conversation with Jessica Rohde, Communication Officer, Interagency Arctic Research Policy Committee (IARPC) and Martin Jeffries, PhD, Technical Director for Cold Regions Science and Engineering to discuss the myriad ways artists can partner with scientists to interpret and materialize their climate science data and to engage in collaboration in the field.

Conversation with Yvonne Love and Gabrielle Russomagno, Ruffin Gallery, The University of Virginia, Bridging Science, Art and Community in the New Arctic, sponsored by the National Science Foundation's Navigating the New Arctic program, with additional support from UVA’s Institute for Humanities
and Global Cultures, and Center for Global Inquiry and Innovation. The UVA Environmental Resilience Institute’s Arctic CoLab is organizing the event, with assistance from the Arctic Research Consortium of the U.S. (ARCUS).
